Chapter 2
The day Alexi offered me a position at Finessed, I was asked to join their weekly team meeting. That night, I got to meet some of the coolest people in my life. A team of go-getters ready to take the industry by storm. I knew quickly that Alexi had my back, I found out just as quickly that the rest of team was ready to help me too.
“Let me know if you need help with anything, I’ll be happy to help”
If you’ve been lucky enough to hear this sentiment even once before, you remember how strong it made you feel. Now imagine hearing it from EVERYBODY around you. Every member of the Finessed team was welcoming and excited to get to work. Alexi knew when she put this team of individuals together that we all wanted the same thing – to help move the industry forward. The Finessed Intern Team is an Avengers ensemble, made up of artists, artist managers, music supervisors, curators, strategists, and more. We are ready to do it all, and whatever it takes to help each other along the way. This team is a constant reminder of the opportunities that exists in the music industry today, and better yet, how dope the people in the industry can be. We’re the media now. Finessed grants individuals the opportunity to chase their dreams, but also allows us to help our peers reach theirs.
Our current team is made up of:
Tiffany Wade, an Artist Manager and Show Host based in Atlanta, GA.
Dia Rogers, a music supervisor and adrenaline-junkie from Brooklyn, NY.
Diana Nguyen, a playlist curator and storyteller from San Jose, who’s also moved to Brooklyn, NY.
Travis Gregory, a synth wave artist based in San Francisco, who just released his latest project, Conversation, available to stream everywhere now.
Tasreen, a Bangladeshi-American R&B artist born and raised in NYC, with one of the most soulful voices I’ve ever heard.
And Chris Carter, a Kansas City-based artist who’s made it his mission to remind the world that real rap is alive and well.
I’m also lucky enough to work with our executives: the Bay-Area born, NYC based, CEO, Alexi Rabadam, our Director of Operations, NYC-native, Justine Milagros, our Brooklyn-based Executive Producer, Mads Engel, and our Los Angeles born, Denver-residing, Graphic Designer, Mo.
These are the people I met on my very first day at Finessed. These are the people dedicated to reaching every goal we set for ourselves, and each other. These are the people I’m proud to surround myself with. This is Finessed.Media. Please get acquainted.
